| "My daughter has been taking private vocal lessons with Ken for just over a year. It amazes how much he has helped her grow. Ken takes time not only to teach technique, but gives her background and knowledge beyond the notes which helps her to find depth and meaning to each song chosen. I'm not sure my daughter realizes how hard she's working because Ken makes each lesson so much fun! He is more than just an instructor, but a true educator and coach. In preparing for auditions, he challenges her to research the show and then helps her to choose appropriate material for her audition. With each new show, we witness her tremendous growth. In her last audition, we came to Ken's studio for a warm up and run through of her materials. Ken worked with her on keeping her poise and getting through distractions. She was awarded a primary role and was complimented by the director on what a fantastic job she did at the audition!
